Gay Marriage
A reverend asked an awesome question during the debate.
Unfortunately, John Edwards didn't have a definitive answer...how can you be against gay marriage but say that you "think it's wrong to use your religious beliefs as a basis for denying anybody their right." ??? It doesn't make sense at all... -

Milwaukee GLBT Community Center
I joined my city's GLBT Community Center today! I didn't know we had one for a long time. What's sad is that it was always close to my old job and school, and I didn't join it sooner. They have a great library there which is full of gay literature, which is where I spent most of my time today. I'm pretty sure I'll be visiting there frequently.

Just me feeling depressed again...
I was watching youtube videos about if being gay was a choice. When I hear people say such things, quoting from the bible, I feel very helpless. For anyone that knew me, they knew that I used to be a very zealous christian. It hurts a lot to hear people spew hate, but what hurts even more is the Lord that I fell in love with a long time ago... ( Read more... )
