Castiel is no exception, though it does seem by this point in the series (after being literally exploded twice) Castiel's vessel is no longer with him, and the form everyone sees is just a created version. So he might appear more like created human form + angel inside. Not that he can go angel while in C&C verse anyway though, I don't think. [/longwinded]
