You wouldn't expect to see a fic wherein Jimmy, Amelia, Claire, Adam, and Nick all live together under one roof and it isn't cracky, but this is exactly that, and so much more. Each of them has been touched in some way by heaven or hell or both, and none of them are unscathed; something that gives this whole concept a nice balance between the darkness and the light showing a way out.

There's more plot here than the author implies in her summary. It's a trippy look into Dean's mindset when he's fresh back from hell, and has a devilishly wicked twist to it-imaginative and wholly unexpected-on top of being smokingly hot.

This is a great exploration of two "outside" characters. It sets up a solid, tangible backstory for the episode, and has a sense of spooky, slow corruption that works perfectly with the episode and the choices the characters ultimately made. Really original.

Set in a nicely crafted AU, this chilling fic probes and asks questions about what Dean could have been like after Hell, and the lengths he would have gone to had Castiel never come forward as his angel. It's bleak and dark and it doesn't offer a happy ending per-say, but it will stun you with the intense imagery and the powerfully evocative road to breaking an angel and falling in love at the same time.
To The Sea

Fighting a losing battle against the Croatoan virus, Sam, Dean and Cas take a break at the seaside. Alternative Reality.
This fic is artfully poignant in it's own way, offering slightly different take on a Croatoan future that is neither dark and harsh nor eternally sunny. The Sam POV is surprisingly fresh and intimate, drawing you in from the start.
The Owl and the Pussycat
