"Do you think they know?" "I don't think anybody knows."

Or, the one in which stuff apparently happened before the last 5 minutes, but you couldn't prove it by me.

(Note: For anyone who may be wondering, I skipped over my recap last week (which really would have just been me describing an endless parade of eyerolls) to finish a fic for the Blaine Exchange over at beyond_dapper. Fics are now posting, so check them ( Read more... )

20) Exactly! And I have had the same problem with Artie as well. It's just, you can't sweep all the bullshit under the rug and make them likable to suit your whims. It doesn't work that way. And yeah, he did have a very off-putting air of entitlement about him ( ... )

22) Someone asked Brad about Santana on twitter and I'm waving my tiny optimist flag:

"Was always abt S accepting herself, not who she dates. Too much respect 4 that journey to wrap it up neat & tidy. This story imprtnt 2 me."

Ideas for how to survive the hiatus

My toooootally non-selfish idea: write fics about all the feelings is making you have. If this involves cute couples being being cute, so be it. :)

Bouncing off of your points, as usual:

1. I didn't know how much I needed Sam/Mercedes until I saw it happen. Like you, I love how they're keeping it between each other atm, though I made sad little noises at the television when I realized that she hadn't told Kurt and what is happening to Kurt/Mercedes friendship?!? Can't a girl have both epic Kurt/Rachel and Kurt/Mercedes friendship? Does it really have to be one or the other? Until some epic fic comes along and gives me another idea (and I'm totally hoping it does), I've decided that Mercedes wants to tell Kurt... but she wants to tell him when it's just the two of them, and she can giggle and squeal and spill details ( ... )

I can't help but think they're waiting until school is over. A brand new fledgeling relationship vs. New Directions is just asking for it.

I find it interesting that the two relationships Quinn genuinely seemed to want but didn't maintain ended up like this.

You know how some things are so funny because they are SO TRUE?

Yeah, that would be why I laughed to hard at that sentence up there. :)

I've been watching folks freak out about it since Tuesday and it's odd to me because my reaction was just "Wow, that's really smart given the history of the way these kids pry into personal lives."

Re: Breaking in
I have never tried to get into the Gershwin itself during the day but in my experince with other theaters, if there are stagehands in the building there will be a side door unlocked. There should be someone watching that door but people do leave their posts for coffee/snacks/etc. The most unrealistic part of that scene for me was the guy letting them stay. They would have been kicked out immediately.

1) No words for how happy this makes me. I started crack 'shipping them in "Original Songs" because of how into Mercedes' number Sam was but I never expected the show to actually go there. And then Prom happened:
