So I had a CT scan today..more Barium than I could stomach, a fight between my doctor and the radiologist regarding whether or not I could have the contrast dye IV as a diabetic of over 5 years even if my kidneys have passed their creatinine test with flying colours, and finally I go into the scan. Hopefully we will have some answers soon. I need

I lost a kidney when I was 14 and I refuse the dye every time because I detest that burning sensation. I can't even begin to describe what that feels like but I suppose you know what I'm talking about!
