So, I bought tickets to see Tool today. They are playing at the Palace of Auburn Hills on September 22nd. Here's the thing...I bought 2 tickets, and then I found two BETTER tickets and so I bought those too. Now I need to get rid of the first set of tickets I bought. August 9th, wahoo! We have to work out details of times to meet and stuff, I'm almost certainly going to have to leave work early no matter what. I thought it said she played at 8, but the tix say doors open at 6, and Ticketmaster is changed to say she plays at 6, too. So I think we should go with 6. :-P

It's at the State Theatre, Detroit, which is at 2115 Woodward, and claims to be next to the Fox Theatre.

Holy crap, that's like 2 weeks from Wednesday...how'd that happen??

Also, congrats on the Tool tickets. I'd buy them, except I don't really like Tool. :-P

I got the 9th off...I don't usually work wednesdays, but SOMETIMES they have me do markdowns, which is early in the morning, and I don't wanna have to be up at 4:30am and then have to be up all day cause I'd be a zombie by the time the concert started...I also got the 10th off cause I'm lazy and again don't want to be up at 4:30 in the am the night after a concert. YAY concerts. I wonder if the easiest way would be for you to come here, and then we could jump on 94 to Detroit...And you could see my semi put together apartment. I'll have to look into that. K, enough rambling.

It's ok about the Tool tickets, they really shouldn't be too hard to get rid off, they only do a tour like every 7 years or something like that.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I'm going to do about the 10th. If she starts at 6, it might not go that late, but we'll see.

I don't think it would be easier for me to come to your place and then go - it's an hour from me to you, and Google claims it's only an hour from me to the concert, too. I do want to see your apartment, though (and meet Bill!) but that would probably work better some Saturday or something.
