I discovered via (and this may be lame so please forgive me) the soundtrack to Darjeeling Limited

I started to like the Kinks after hearing them on that soundtrack :(, lol.

1. Wes Anderson's films have introduced me to a lot of music (Nico's cover of "These Days", for example).
2. After the Gold Rush is great, and the title track is one of my all time favorites (to be fair, that's a really long list).
3. I find the cover for Station to Station to be really really creepy. Not bad, just... creepy.

wow this was really interesting but i SO do not have the attention span to organize my music tastes. definitely agree with the yumminess of these albums though, the ones i know anyway!

What I did was I used my shifts at work to do this. I would work on it for like 15 minutes and then do some homework or something, and then come back to it. It was an interesting way to prevent boredom while sitting in a computer lab.

Wow that's weird... I had this feeling that it was Jon! He should be glad Bruce was ON my list! I'd say top 20 favorites ain't bad. And the album is great, it's just not as sentimental to me as some other choices.

God, Bob Dylan. Now THAT'S a top 5 choice!
