the lucksmiths sold out because we all know they are the australian version of belle & sebastian, and even more reclusive. however I wasn't too fussed, since I managed to down the cocktail I'd been craving for so long. kuletos ftw.

early this morning: curled up in bed with humyara. fell asleep ten minutes into trainspotting. woke up to find she'd ( Read more... )

"while my front teeth gently disintegrated - when I swill my mouth, I can feel tooth-crumbs rattling against my molars."

I HAVE THIS DREAM/FEELING ALL THE TIME. I'm glad I'm not the only one feeling this weird.

it's a recurring dream that I have. that one and the dreams where I'm running away from something as hard and fast as I can, and I'm super fast, and I have some sort of awesome invisibility shield in place, but people can still know where I am. the ease with which they inevitably catch me terrifies me, it's why I wake up and feel like I want to hit something.

luckily I haven't had that dream in a while, so.

I used to have dreams where my teeth fell out ALL THE TIME. Apparently it means you're going through a period of insecurity, that you're concerned about how other people perceive you.

But you shouldn't worry, poppet. :)

Edit: If I recall, it's also one of the most common dreams, along with having sex with someone you wouldn't normally, and being naked in a public place. Heh.

haha, oh dear. it probably makes more sense when you consider
1) I was experiencing mild self-doubt before I fell asleep, and
2) my friend was talking about someone she knew whose front teeth were punched out so that he had exposed nerves for two days until he could see a specialist. it made me go a bit sdjignsdjgsd as you can imagine

but like. those other dreams I don't normally have? except for maybe the naked in a public place one. and funnily enough, I'm always prepubescent in those ones. what the.

Oh god, that teeth thing sounds AWFUL. I've had my fair share of teeth nightmares, so I sympathise. When I was 11 I got my front teeth knocked out by a surf board. :( I have this really intense recollection of walking into my friends house, crying, and looking up into their hall mirror and seeing all this blood all over my face. It was pretty fucked up. Hah.

You know, I've NEVER had a naked in public dream. Well, not that I can remember, anyway. However, I do have a lot of sex dreams. Heh.

Thank you!

I KNOW RIGHT. one of the toats was in an article I was proofing at the very last minute. if I hadn't done so and noticed it, three thousand toats would be making their way into everyday vocabulary. the thought makes me cry a bit.
