I just played Dance Dance Revolution for the very first time. I am not very good! During Fall Out Boy's Dance, Dance I was too distracted by the actual music video in the background. It was a lot of me being all "Yay! High school dance shenanigans!" and Trevor yelling at me to move my feet. /o ( Read more... )

My senior year we did this amazing production of Singing in the Rain complete with an onstage rain sequence closing out the first act. I was one of the dancers and the first time we did the full tech rehearsal with the rain we vastly underestimated how long it would take the stage to dry so when we came out for the big dance number that kicks off the second act dancers about half the dancers--including me:D -- fell on our asses within the first eight counts. It was both hilarious and painful.

Hahahaha this is an A+ awesome story! Not the ouchie part of it, but the hilarious part of it! Sometimes I really do miss doing shows. Do you ever? Or was it more something you just enjoyed doing in school? It was certainly a lot easier to be part of shows in high school!

Dancing tampon!

That is all.

Except, wait. Maybe we can play SingStar when you're here. Because clearly you're better at the singing part than the dancing part. ;)

I thought about mentioning that in this entry by saying that it didn't matter that I got called out in dance rehearsal because I was the girl known throughout the cast as having shared my mother's infamous observation that our napkin costumes looked like tampons.

Hahaha despite what Brian told you while you were here I'm not very good at that either :-P
