I have a dell computer and scanner. Could someone try to explain to me how to upload photos either from the scanner or digital camera to live journal? I just don't get how to connect the pictures to the internet.
Please??

I am not good with digital cameras or scanners (that's what I keep my friends around for), but once you have an imaged saved to your computer, open a photobucket account (http://www.photobucket.com). You can upload the photos there and then paste the tag lines into your journal.

You need a site to host the photos, and then you write code in your lj entry to link to them.

The site I use is Geocities. They give you free space, and a utility to upload your files. They don't like people to host photos from their free space, but if you change the file extension to .txt instead of .jpg you can get away with it.

It's kind of complicated in it's entirety, but begin by starting a geocities site, and upload you photos. Before you upload them, also edit them so they're about 100 Kb in size. Big images take to long to load.

Once the images are on your Geocities site, read the faq in LJ as how to link to them.

The cool thing about my Geocities "stealth" method, ie: changing the .jpg extension to .txt, is that you can display photos on LJ without the advertising that other free hosting sites require.

Are your boobs getting bigger? Do you notice a new glow about yourself?

Have you seen the fairly recent Irish movie "Intermission?"
