In my opinion, love is without a doubt the most confusing emotion. You hardly ever know when it is true or not, and when you finally figure it all out, its too late. I think this has happened to me. it seems like you're always left wondering if you could have made things work, if you should have tried harder. at least i always do. so maybe it's more important to keep trying than anything else. i'm the biggest cynic on love though, so i wouldn't really know.
