The calender swap came back! Here you will see samples of every month. They are all trimed to match and put together with a ring and some fancy fibers (which had to be removed for scanning).

In the name of the photo is the creator of the individual tags.

These will be one of the gifts that I give to my Sister's this year.

my own background paper again...both the light and darker brown are just stamped pieced. The leaves are punched out of scrapbook paper.

I made my own background paper on this one. Just stamped and stamped with background stuff until it looked right. The layer with the ribbon on it is stamped with linen.

It feels like this one needs words but I may leave it as is.

Suggestions?

I was inspired by the calender tag that I made last month and used the same layout on a Wedding Card that I need to use in about two weeks. This is a 5x7 card. Leaves stamped in versa mark then dusted with gold Pearl-x. I sliced a slit in the fold of the card and fed tulle through and tied it in a knot right on the front. Our walmart is now carrying Bernat Ultrasoft Handicrafter Cotton in big old 12 ounce skeins, so I had to get one in Patio Pinks. I'm going to use it to practice knitting. Here you see my second fabulous knitting project. Next time I may actually use a pattern. For now I definately need to work on my knit to purl changeover, which leaves me with ( Read more... )
