Friday was date night for Matt and me. We head out to Redcoat Tavern where I had smoked chicken and Matt had pot pie. My singer pixie, a cheap basic model meant more for scrap booking, is a no go for any actual sewing. :( The control pedal crapped out on me, so the only way to use it is to turn it on auto, guide with one hand, and try to turn it off in time with the other. Yesterday was a blast! Matt and I had the day off, so we got together with all of our friends and drove out to Novi to check out all the little Japanese shops and eateries.
