WooHoo! I got to go see Obama yesterday when he came to Colorado State University. I found a co-worker in line and got in with him. The line was over 1 1/2 miles long, about 5 people deep. We ended up with approx 50,000 people at the rally. It was really amazing ( Read more... )

Adam has been asking me to make a hat that looks like hair for quite a while now. I decided that he needed a Mohawk for Halloween (although I am pretty sure he will wear it other times too). I got a request for info on how I made the hands on my Dr. Horrible, and since I haven't heard anyone else talk about doing it this way, I thought I would do a tutorial. Luckily I thought this might end up happening, so I took pics along the way!

I finally finished (more or less) my Dr. Horrible. For those of you who haven't watched it yet, you can see it on Hulu (at least from the US - I'm not sure about elsewhere). My son has a cast of monster characters that he has made up, and the entoadas were one of the first types. He draws them all the time and writes stories about them, and he even got his friends at school started playing a game about entoadas. This entoada is named Enfroga. I finally finished assembling my felted purse that I have been working on. I like how it came out, although it would be even better if it were about an inch taller.
