I decided to buy a roadworthy motorised scooter - it does 8 mph (4 mph on the pavement) has indicators, wing mirrors and lights - from motability. It was delivered about 12.30 pm on Friday. I had lunch and then set off to the supermarket. By 2pm I was lying in the middle of a road, with said scooter lying on my foot, looking up at the sky. See

I doubt it will. I'll taking it as a steep learning curve to be more careful. At least it wasn't raining.

I've sent for a scooter bag so that Tony's baguette will have a safe place to stay. At least it was a nice day and not raining.
