For [way too long] now, I've been working on solving a customized minesweeper (classic) game that's as far beyond expert in mine density than expert (5/24) is beyond intermediate (5/32). simont has written lots of puzzles that work on various platforms, and include a version of Minesweeper that never comes down to luck, FWIW.

My, someone's been getting friendly with my flist lately. You should come to a National Puzzlers' League con and geek out with all these folks in person. I bet you'd have a blast.
