I'm taking a class called fate of the un-evangelized and I was just wondering if you had a specific view on this subject. Do you think God will send people to hell who have not had the chance to be evangelized to and accept Jesus? If you don't have time to share your view it's ok. I have to form an opinion and write a paper and this subject isn't something I've though about a lot until now. It has really been weighing on my heart lately.

My opinion on the subject is this: God's will is God's will, and we cannot know what it is. God is the only judge of who goes to Heaven or Hell. It really upsets me when people make a judgement on another about their salvation merely based on the fact that they don't think they are in the right faith. Only God can decide one's salvation.

I'm sorry that this is kind of a late answer! I hope I helped!

Maybe it's just me but... has your LJ profile always been in Greek?

Anyway, I was going to ask you if you were studying at HCHC (so I took a gander at your profile). I ask, because I dont know where else would be able to take such courses as you are.

Oh, and btw, knowing how the Greek people achieved a stranglehold over the diner industry in the US is of most extreme importance. Especially when one realizes the extent of our dominance in the late night food area. MUAHAHAHAHA

Byzantine history fun? That's the first time I see it described that way, lol. I guess it's different when you choose to study it instead of it being forced on you in school...

As for the Greek-American experience... is it really just about diners? I saw a documentary a while back that said that the first Greeks to go to America where rather badly received, weren't considered Europeans (to the point that they had to form unions with Albanians and Turks who suffered a similar fate) and not even thought of as white (there were newspaper headlines such as "white girl seen with Greek") In the documentary it said that this attitude started to change after WWII when Greece fought hard against the Italians and the Germans.

*waves* Added you so thought I'd say hi! :D

Interesting... you know, in Canada Greeks don't consider themselves white. My friend from Greece used to live in Toronto and he told me this.

Also, a friend of mine's family (who is Greek) changed their name to something French, because in the South Greeks were discriminated against just as Jews and Blacks were.
