A/N: Just a drabble, but it wouldn't get out of my head.

“Are you ready for this?” Santana’s voice was deceptively light.

“I don’t know - I can’t,” Quinn protested.  “I can’t do this.”

“Listen to me,” Santana grabbed her by the shoulders, looking her in the eye.  “Everybody’s out there, okay?  You’re dressed up in your fancy dress, and you know she’s waiting for you.”

Quinn’s carefully controlled tears began to escape, and she dabbed at her eyes in a desperate attempt to save her makeup.  “What if she doesn’t like it?  I mean, I never had a chance to ask her-”

“Quinn,” Santana sat down beside her, putting an arm around her shoulders.  “I know you’re scared.  That’s okay, you’re allowed to be.  But what you can’t do is let your fear paralyse you, okay?  You only get one chance to do this, and you’re going to regret it forever if you don’t do it right.  I’m going to walk you right up that aisle, and you’re going to lean on me as much as you want.  You’re going to get up there and you’re going to be Quinn Fabray, the Head Bitch.  You’re going to put everyone and everything out of your head, and you’re going to focus like Sue Sylvester is on your ass, okay?”

Quinn nodded, taking short controlled breaths.  “Let’s go,” she murmured, getting to her feet and taking Santana’s hand.  The gathering in the church was almost silent when she emerged, but she kept her head up and walked as tall as she could as she leaned against Santana’s shoulder.  She didn’t look at Finn, or Sam, or Mike, all of whom were seated together on the right side.  She didn’t look at Tina, Mercedes or Brittany on her left.  She allowed herself to be led to the front, and she clutched hard at Santana’s arm when she tried to leave her there.  Santana nodded her understanding, and Quinn fumbled with a creased piece of paper before she laid it on the altar.

“Hello,” she said, her voice hitching just a little.  “Thank you all for coming today - Rachel will be thrilled with the turnout.”  Quinn turned away for a moment, clearing her throat before returning her attention to her paper.  “We’re gathered here today to celebrate the life of Rachel Berry...”
