Ooh, thanks for the warning about The Voyage of the Dawn Treader. I haven't felt particularly compelled to see it, but I know I will eventually. I'm so confused about the Narnia movies - I love the books so much, and the first two movies have wonderful kids, and are appropriately grand, and they look amazing, but somehow I just don't love them like I want to. Ben Barnes is really pretty, though. I have mixed feelings about whether I want them to make a movie of The Silver Chair, because it is my favourite of all the books, so I want a movie, but I am just so desperate for it to be perfect and wonderful. Puddleglum!

Dawn Treader is my favorite one of the books, and I was really looking forward to the movie. So disappointing. :(

I don't think you can ever love the movies as much as you love the books. I know I couldn't, anyway. The books were such a formative part of my childhood--there is way more wrapped up with them than just the stories, you know?

I had heard somewhere that they squished the plotlines for Dawn Treader and Silver Chair together for this one. Is that true?

I saw the 1st Narnia movie but not the last two. The movie just didn't thrill me like the books did!

That is definitely not true! There is no Silver Chair plot in this movie at all.

The second movie is worth watching if only for Ben Barnes's pretty, pretty face.

Ok, I just google imaged him and yeah, HOT. I didn't know he was the one who played the main character's dad in Stardust! I knew that guy looked familiar.
