When is someone going to write the Kurt/Puck Some Kind of Wonderful AU that I am so desperately craving? Every fandom needs one of those, and I especially need it right now because I am sick and coughing and sniffly and AT WORK ugh.

I want comfort fic.

RIGHT? I can't decide between a Kurt who's in love with Finn and looks for advice from his good friend Puck (who knows what dudes like, and who also happens to work with Kurt in his dad's shop), or a Puck who's in love with Quinn and turns to Kurt for advice because he knows about girly stuff.

I'm leaning toward the first scenario because Quinn would make a GREAT bitchy girlfriend for Finn à la Hardy Jenns from the movie.

Also, I LOVE Some Kind of Wonderful. A Glee version of that would be awesome!! I just watched that movie recently...so good.

Zinc it up, dude. I have been taking zinc and my cold sucks, but it's not as bad as I can tell it wants to be. It reeeeeeeeeealy wants to be bronchitis and give me an awful cough but I am hammering it so hard with zinc that it just can't. TAKE THAT, STUPID COLD.

Some Kind of Wonderful is probably my favorite 80s movie. I love the "best friends who fall in love" trope. <3

I totally thought I had some Cold-eez or anything with lots of zinc in it but I don't. I did drink 3 bottles of water with Airborne though, so that has some zinc in it at least. I may go get some Cold-eez later...

And sleep! Must get lots of sleep!

And yeah...why do we love the "best friends in love" trope so damn much? So cliched and I don't even care! Bring it on!! In reality, I'd never really fall in love with any of my BFFs, female or male. My guy friends are too close for me to think of them like that. And my best girlfriends, well, that would just be craziness. I think we know too much about each other for that to work. And yet, if it's fiction, I eat it right up

I, too, have the cold from hell...and while I've never given it much thought, Kurt/Puck sounds hot as all hell!! Someone really, really needs to get on this!

I have never ventured onto tumblr--it sounds kind of wanky about 80% of the time when I hear about it. I have zero tolerance for ship wars. Also, they bore me.

Caroline's stuff is my go-to comfort fic these days. I just keep re-reading it and re-reading it. If her fic were a person I would be such a creepy stalker, man.

It is so wanky. I just logged back in after a shitton of time away and un-followed every Glee-related tumblr (tumbl? tumble? idek, w/e) I was watching because 1) they post way too much, 2) cry way too much, 3) seriously guys, I don't care that much for Darren Criss, and 4) they are mostly 15-year-old hipster kids and I have a long-standing dislike for hipster kids. I just wanna look at pictures from National Geographic and watch my friend's photo blogs, man. And reblog pictures of elephants. ...and the occasional blue-footed booby.

Omg, her stuff is my go-to comfort fic for always. If it were an actual, physical thing, the spine would be broken and the pages would be coming out and you'd be able to pick bits of binding glue from it. I recently threw her entire journal at one my BFFs because I felt this intense need to share the P/K love. I AM NOT ASHAMED THAT SHE IS MY FAVORITE OKAY EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ HER WORK
