Well, it's good to see you, anyhoo! :D

I'm going to rappel off an Omaha skyscraper (yes, we actually have one :) in September, so I guess I'll be training for that.

I've been thinking about you a lot lately, wondering how it was going with the kidlet. So I'm glad that you updated! :)

I hope you get more sleep in the near future. And take LOTS of pictures of him.

As for me, same old stuff. Vet school, classes, no sleep for me either but I'm studying, not holding a tiny little adorable baby, so that kinda sucks. ;)

Hahahahaaaaaa, I have SO MANY PICTURES, Cat. SO MANY. All on my iPhone. None on a decent camera. NONE.

You better get a real camera to document these precious moments! (hah) Seriously though, iPhone pics only?

Haha, we have THREE real cameras, one of which is very fancy. It's just a matter of finding the time and wherewithal to use it!

I've been doing all the math, punctuated with trying to coerce my younger child into not flunking out of high school entirely on the basis that the degree of option-limitation this would involve would be less fun than he might be thinking.

...not that I did breast-feeding because: squick (for me, not for other people; I am 100 percent in support of women feeding their babies in whatever way seems right to them, and will smite people who tell them to cover it up and stuff), but, my SIL determined that wearing her nursing baby in a sling increased her ability to do things like brush her teeth because even though she still had to pay attention and intervene and stuff, she usually could have one free hand for a few minutes at a time and stuff. ?

I bought a sling off etsy last week and am anxiously waiting for it to arrive! I had a c-section, so I started breastfeeding him in the football hold (image is a cartoon and non-squicky, I promise!) so as not to lay him on top of my incision. Now we're both used to that and I'm having a hard time transitioning to a hold where he's across my body and could be in a carrier of some sort. I am hoping the sling will help with that!

And dude, I don't have a squick exactly about breastfeeding, but it's definitely weird. So, so weird. And PAINFUL. I nearly gave up pretty much every single time I did it, and it took at least a month to get used to it. I don't blame anyone for not doing it, because wow.
