Where the heck have I been? Flist, I don't even know. Summer is getting away from me. I can't believe it's almost the 4th. Because that, as most Americans know, pretty much signals the end of summer. I knoooooow. I've only heard awesome, raving things about it. I just... I think I'm going to wait untill it finishes airing.

I had a dream last night we were hanging out at my neighbor's house back in Chambana, but my third grade teacher lived there now. Then all of a sudden everyone took off and I was a sad panda. ; A ; I'm glad work is going well though! <3

I have the same problem with all the Hong Sisters metaphors. Doesn't it defeat the purpose of getting rid of flowery words when they replace them with equally flowery metaphors?

Hmm this season I'm watching a bunch of stuff like City Hunter, I Need Romance, Heartstrings, and Material Queen.

Metaphors that they DRILL into your brain. Like, I get it, THE POTATO REPRESENTS THEIR LOVE. WILL IT BLOSSOM? I FEEL LIKE I'M GOING TO DIE.

This is why I wait for a series to end before watching it. So many series sound fantastic, but end up kinda. . . meh. I'm definitely going to give Best Love a shot. There's been so much negative reaction around Lie To Me that I'm not sure the chemistry is worth it.

I am watching Hayate the Combat Butler as it airs, though. It's cute.

I'd never say Lie to Me is bad. I enjoyed it, though my attention did waver when it wasn't YEH/KJH on screen. But if you're a fan of them it's definitely worth a shot.

EXCUSE ME, WHY IS THERE NO MENTION OF CITY HUNTER ANYWHERE ON THIS LIST? It's a rom-com exactly but omg, the OTP on this show is handled so well and everyone is so likable and great and smart, it's like it's not even a real Kdrama, WHERE IS ALL THE NONSENSICAL AND HORRIBLE BEHAVIOR?

Okay, this is weird, but EVERYONE is so hyped up about City Hunter I'm a little scared to start it. Like, what if it doesn't live up to the 110% amazing reviews I've been reading? I'll be super bummed! I've kept up with some spoilers, so I'm worried that's going to affect the impact of the drama. I DON'T EVEN KNOW. I MAY BE INSANE.
