Hey everyone. I'm still alive, at the folks' house in Harahan. We're about to see what Rita has instore for us in the next 24 hours, so hopefully I will have something good to post in the next few days. Stay strong. New orleans is the greatest place on earth. It will be back.

Thanks for the update just to let us no you are okay. My brother is so screwed in all this. He was living in New Orleans then Katrina came through and messed up his house. Since he was planning on buying a dental practice in Lafayette anyway next year, they went ahead and bought a new house there this past week. And, lo and behold, here come's Rita. *sigh*

They just can't win. Keep the updates coming. Phone service is still hit or miss with me trying to call down there.
