Regina had gotten a call the night before from a certain Slayer. It seemed the other Summers sister was interested in joining up. She called and said she'd be in sometime that week. So far the blonde had yet to show

Buffy stood in the 'waiting' room, arms folded and glancing around. She felt a little awkward being here, but she felt like she could offer her services to this place. It sounded like they needed all the help they could get. Plus, if some of her friends and her own little sister were helping out, she might as well, too.
A tall, statuesque woman appeared. So totally the opposite of what her brain attached to the term 'watcher'. If she looked surprised, she was.
She took the woman's hand and said, "Hi, thanks." After returning her arm to their folded position, she said, "Sorry it's taken me so long to get here. I ran into a bit of trouble the other night and had to do some extra-curricular hunting."
Nodding, she headed in the direction of the conference room. Buffy shrugged her shoulders to the other woman's question, "As well as it can go. All is done and properly poofed."
She glanced around the room, taking a seat at the table since she assumed this would probably be a talking matter. Sitting up, she said, "So, what's the sitch? Or what can I do here to help? Dawn has told me a little, but not too much about what your guys do."
Regina took a seat next to Buffy. "Well the idea is to get hunters, Slayers, Watchers and magic practitioners together to help out people. Kind of making a loose network, offering pay and benefits for those of us who have a non-traditional jobs." She smiled. "We have the resources to help each other out too. Things we don't normally deal with maybe someone else has experience with."
It was unusual at first that the sewers closer to new the building complex was so clean. Angel paused at an intersection, looking at the fresh piping that twisted overhead and the surprisingly dry and clean walls.
Clean walls, except for an image of a stylized phoenix about the size of his hand at the entrance of one of the passageways. It wasn't obvious, but it certainly wasn't discrete...unless you had already seen it before.
Angel fished out black envelope from his coat and looked at the imprinted image on it's face. They were a match.
Guess I'm going the right way. He thought and started down the passage. He had gone maybe a quarter of a mile around a bend when he was greeted with a simple glass wall and door that enclosed a slightly larger room which was a dead end. There was decent lighting beyond the wall, a man sitting behind a desk with a newspaper and a bay of several computer screens playing footage that was clearly from further back in the sewers. Beyond him was the silver doors of an elevator

Jim looked up from his current task to find a tall dark and pale man speaking to him. He could register a guess as to who this was but wasn't going to test his luck.
"She's here in the conference room with a potential member. You're welcome to join them." Jim rose offering to walk him to the room. "Angel, right?" he offered his hand. "Jim, Regina's assistant."
Angel reached out and took the man's hand. "Thank you." He said. "I don't want to be a bother...but I'm a potential member too..." He smiled sheepishly. "So...um...lead the way."
Jim shook the cool hand of the vampire. "No bother," Jim began to walk towards the conference room. "Right this way."
Jim paused outside the door and knocked. "Reggie, there's someone else her to meet with you." He nodded to Buffy. "Hope you don't mind." He stepped back out of the way and gestured for Angel to enter.
Spike sauntered in past reception. He saw no need to address the bored looking receptionist. She did let out a shout of protest and he continued walking as she chased after him.
"Excuse me Sir," the 'sir' was filled with anything but polite. "You'll have to wait here to see whoever your seeing."
"Don't have time." he pulled out his letter. "And its not whoever its whomever." he shot her a glare. "I'm here to see this Crane woman." he spotted a assistant who looked up at the name Crane.
"Well I have to talk to -" the girl stopped mid-sentence. " Jim, he's here to see Reggie. He doesn't have an appointment." she shot him a look and if looks could be stakes he'd be dust.
"And I told this chit that I do not need one. Got myself a standing invite." he held up the letter inches from Jim's nose. "Right and personal from this Crane woman."
Jim knew on site that this had to be Spike. After all he was one of Dawn's favorite people, if one counted vampires as people. He looked around the welcome letter and smiled at Spike, what he hoped was friendly.
He nearly want to grin as Leslie was up in arms about the vampire breaking past her. Just the other day she was up in arms about the Internet not working when they had a small IT problem. He attempted to keep his face calm.
"Its alright, Regina's expecting him." he smiled as Leslie headed back to the reception area. "Spike, nice to meet you I'm Jim, Reggie's assistant. She's currently in a meeting if you'd like you can join her, she's meeting with two other newcomers."
He met those blue eyes and saw the look of annoyance. "So if you'll follow me I'll show you to the conference room."
Spike was keen on accents from home and he'd put to two one that this bloke was Welsh. It might be nice to have some to catch a match and have a pint with. And a decent pint at that not the weak American crap beer either.
"Right. Welshman Jim." he glanced to see Jim nod. "The conference room, wouldn't be that set of double doors would it mate?" he asked pointing at the doors. "I'll see myself there."
"Okay." Jim nodded taking a seat behind his desk. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spike was a less than worried as he sauntered to the conference room. He'd heard this place was full of Watcher types. No doubt all of them fresh from the new Council training. He smirked as a few eyes widened and a whisper of "Spike" and another "William the Bloody" went through the room.
He smirked and was just about to push into this meeting , but the sound of a familiar voice, muffled but none the less Buffy.
Angel flinched out of his casual slouch, where he had been sitting back and chewing on the edge of a nail while listening to Regina and trying with all his might not to throw Buffy the occasional glance. He was half out of his chair when he turned and realized it was Spike

She smiled. "I'll let Dean know. If you can get one of our cars ready to take our guests to the hangar that would be great." she turned back to Buffy, Angel and Spike. "Dean will be at the airport waiting on you." she smirked. "He already knows what Buffy looks like, Dawn was kind enough to show him a picture." she winked at Buffy.
"Oh, I almost forgot." she pulled up a photo storage box. "You're all going to want one of these. Hex bags to keep the questionable angels at bay." she slid one across the table to each of them. "Keep them on you at all times."
Buffy was slightly taken aback that this was all happening so quickly. Though she was also grateful for something to finally do. She felt like she had been on slayer hiatus for days and weeks. She cast her eyes to Angel and Spike, who were just as ready to jump into the fray. Although it was a bit strange to work with the two of them together...in the same room, she was relieved for the familiar faces

To say that Angel wasn't the least bit jealous was a lie. The vampire caught the playful wink, which in turn made his brow rise up in a bit of surprise. Regina was suggesting that this Dean had either admitted to finding Buffy attractive or that the Slayer would find reason for similar thoughts once they met in person.
He accepted the hex bag as it came across the table. He looked it over from the exterior and then peeked inside to assess the contents. "Interesting." He mused, taking his mind off of this complete stranger that might be crushing on his ex.
Angel cleared his throat. "I need to run back to my office and pack a bag. Do we have time for that?" He asked.
(ooc: Regina, just make a thread in Case 3 for the airplane bit. We will catch up as soon as we can....I gotta rattle some cages and find Anna or we're going nowhere fast with our summoning ritual...unless Willow wants to jump ship and come join in too.)
"Absolutely, if you all need time to pack or gather things up that can be done." she nodded. He phone rang and she looked down at the call id. "Willow Rosenburg". "If you all will excuse me." she held up her phone. "Hello?" she poke stepping out of the conference room doors.
((occ: Can do I'll get on that after being MIA. I might do that.))

Clearly The Slayer was not expecting her. She tried not to chuckle. I guess she's quite use to Giles and Wesly, I must really be a shock.
