Finally beginning to feel like myself again as of about 5 days ago! Have a lot of catching up to do after a year of being busy and a half-year of being very sick, with bad eyes to boot (screens were hard). Such a relief

The mental image of yourself as Mme Hooch, blowing the whistle and handing out yellow cards when you catch people being unkind, made me smile so much :-). We could really use such referees walking about ;-).
Great to see you again as well! I'm always terribly sorry not to keep up with LJ. So many friends to miss out on!
Pleased you got a smile out of that as well! I did when my friend cracked a joke about it. I made a comment about throwing a yellow card a few days ago and it stuck. :P
Haven't started the prep yet, today was the big shop to prepare. Three of us went together and it was rather fun. I held us up while flirting with the cashier, so she hit cash for my friend instead of card... Oops. *Scratches head.*
Going to try my damndest to keep things improving! Thanks for the hope! ♥
Indeed, I'm rather rubbish at being anyone else, worst of all if that 'someone else' is merely a very ill version of myself! I get to have much more fun now. (;
Great to see you on board for Hoggy - it just wouldn't be the same without you.
And I'm glad to hear things are a bit better for you. Any practical questions about food prepping, mail away. I'm a fairly decent cook, though not familiar with gluten-free. But I know how to do things, and if I can help, gladly.
You know, I did think of you when I realised how much of a kitchen overhaul this would be. I thought I might post to the OLSB recipe page one of these days to see how people like cooking their favourite veg. I'm supposed to cook most things, now, and avoid eating so much raw, which I'm not very used to. Plenty of tricks to the trade I've yet to learn. Just picked up my first steamer, for instance, though I haven't tried it yet.
Also, 'fairly decent' my arse. You're excellent, m'dear. But of course you can't come off as a braggart--so I'll gladly do that for you. (;
Thank you! Can hardly wait. Was delighted to see both you and tetleythesecond down, although I haven't had a chance to read prompts yet. (Can't wait for that either.)

If your friend has actually started the prep, she might want to rethink leaving the house, though.
I hope things continue to improve, and I'm glad you'll make Hoggy!
