taken from indiefic:

What is your LiveJournal username? How did you come up with it?
crankylex. My name is Lex and I am cranky. There you go, nothing terribly fascinating about that.

Have you renamed before? If so, what were your old names? If you haven't renamed, what names would you want to rename to?
Nope. I don't get the whole renaming thing, as I don't use an alias. Lex is actually my real name. Well, my real nickname. My name is Alexis.

How much does your userinfo say about you?
It gives a brief overview of me, I think.

How long have you been on LiveJournal?
Almost six years. Prior to that, I was on Xanga.

What is the longest amount of time you've gone without posting?
Months, probably.

On average, how many entries do you post per day? (Divide how many total entries you have by how many days you've been on LJ.)
I'll steal indie's answer: I'm very, very inconsistent. For a month or two I'll post daily or multiple times a day, then be MIA for weeks. I always read. ALWAYS. But my posting can be sporadic.

What are your posts normally about?
My life, mainly. I'm not really involved in fandom anymore, so I mostly post about me.

Is your LiveJournal friends only? Why or why not?
Nope. I'm not a particularly private person.

Does your LiveJournal have an actual title or are you merely USER @ LiveJournal?
"Foul-Mouthed Tart"

How long do you see yourself staying on LiveJournal?
Indefinitely.

ABOUT YOUR FRIENDSLIST

How many people are on your friendslist, not counting private journals, media journals, etc?
Around 80.

Why do you choose to add a person to your friendslist?
If I see someone around on friends' journals or communities I like, and I enjoy what they have to say, I friend them.

Is your friendslist an actual list of people you consider friends, or more of a reading list?
A good number of the people on my fl are actually friends, yes.

How often do you read your friendslist?
Multiple times daily.

Do you use filters when viewing your friendslist?
I do, yes.

How much do you talk to people on your friendslist off of LiveJournal?
Constantly.

Do you do friendscuts? Why or why not?
No, because I'm generally cautious about who I add in the first place.

Do you regularly participate in friending memes? If not, how do you normally find people to friend?
No, I've never participated in one.

How often do you add new friends to your friendslist?
Rarely.

Do your friends have to have things in common with you?
Generally speaking, yes.

ABOUT YOUR ICONS / USERPICS

How many userpics do you get maximum? How many of those slots do you actually use?
56. 42.

Do you mostly use icons made by yourself or by others?
Most of mine are made by others. I'm not much of an icon maker.

Do you have your own icon community? How often do you post in it?
Nope.

What fandoms are most frequently seen in your userpics?
BtVS, Firefly and X-Men, mostly.

How do you find icons to use?
Here and there.

How often do you upload new icons to use in your userpics?
I'm pretty sporadic about it.

Which of your userpics do you use the most?
I'm lazy, I use my default one mostly.

Which of your userpics do you like the most?
I like them all, that's why I have them.

The old maximum number of userpics was three. Could you see yourself "surviving" on three userpics now?
I could, yes.

What do your userpics say about you?
That I like obnoxious sayings.

ABOUT YOUR FANDOMS

How many fandom communities are you a part of?
10 or so. I don't participate in any of them regularly anymore.

Do you join fanfic or icon communities or only the general communities?
I tend to join fic communities only.

How many fandom communities do you moderate?
None anymore, woooo.

How often do you check fandom communities for new posts?
Rarely. They're on a separate filter.

Do you contribute to fandom? If so, by way of what?
I used to write fic, but I just read now.

Which fandoms are you most active in?
None in particular.

What do your choice of fandoms say about you?
I like dark, troubled characters.

Do you make friends based on fandom?
Yes.

Have you ever read (or been featured on) fandom_wank?
I read F_W all the time, but I've never been personally featured to my knowledge.

What is one thing you wish you could change about fandom?
I wish people could take a step back sometimes and get the bigger picture, but it's fandom and it's never going to happen.
