Dec 6th is when they nuke my left eye.

many assurances given that the procedure is simple, uncomplicated, easy.

until, however, their laser blows the back of my head off.....

Everyone I know who's had lasers taken to their eyes raves about what a difference it makes. I hope it's as helpful to you, and that they don't laser through your brain. ;)

as my life (and the lives of any blood relations) has amply demonstrated, if there is jus a 1% chance something can go wrong, we WILL be in that 1%...

Yep! Susan (my wife) did this a few years ago, and only uses reading glasses now. She thinks it's great. Unfortunately, when I got in my 40s, I had a progressively greater need for reading glasses. Just ordered 3 with a 2.0x Rx...

ah, not lasik.

the implant they put in for the cataract they took out has now developed a cataract of its own.

they'e going to have to hit it with enough power to BURN thru the scum that grown over it.
