Surus - his life and times

It has become popular for people to write a history of their lives. Some have not yet lived long enough to have anything to write about, but they have begun the writing none the less.

So I now surrender to the fashion.

yes - roughly about the same time as TSR produced AD&D, there was also a rule set known as Chivalry & Sorcery from Fantasy Games Unlimited.

It is may understanding that some folks involved in the C&S rules were also involved in the Society for Creative Anachronsm. Seeking far more to create a simulation of medieval europe.

I always found C&S more satisfying than AD&D, especially in the way the rules handled magic.

plus, in C&S, I CAN be an 800 pound sauriod Raptor in chain mail with a two handed sword.....

Mr. Rittenhouse, who also looks in at times on my journal will remember the C&S red book well as he introduced me to it via his Memnisonian campaign.
