hey, when you get all bitter because the world is fucking you up, you just ignore yourself!
you go in the woods and look at the trees, or you watch people walking all around in front of some strip-mall, and you change your outlook by changing your focus. because people are only miserable when they are assessing -their- reality (well, no true, but most miserable). and maybe i'm just a huge hippy, but all it takes is to know that life is not a person's success or social standing or level of comfort created by money, and that we are completely insignificant, and it is US who is fucking ourselves up.
hence my absenteeism from new haven social scene. all of that shit makes me wallow and forget that my life is not 'life,' it's just some egocentric illusion. and if you eve come to a point where you are no longer able to see outside of that illusion, you kill yourself. because that's it.
i hope you read this.
and don't worry, look at me. and i feel pretty successful. really.
