The statistic is that 94% of REPORTED rapes are committed against women. The issue is that in our society it's very difficult to accept that men can be raped. Part of it is an issue of biology, that men believe if they get an erection then they enjoyed it (however this is very much false... erections can be involuntary)

sorry, wasn't clear. I meant that the common concept of rape is a female-centric thing, not that the act itself is. Now, in most cases, its alright to keep that concept because, in general, i'm assuming that women are victims of rape more than men are. However, like you said, there are cases, more than people know about, where men are actually the victims. What I was trying to say is pretty much what you're saying: that it's very hard to accept that men can be raped, so much so that it's embedded in the very legal definition of rape.
