Yea, awesome, I thought I was correct with regards to the dates. Do you have a gmail account? If not, you should sign up (I can send you an invite if one is still necessary). Then we can use a Google Calendar and share our appointments with eachother, regardless if they affect everybody or not. Then we can peer into eachother's lives and narrow the width of this country even more so.
Thanks for the heads up about father's day - I knew it, but I keep forgetting throughout the day. I will call him now.
Also - I just finished reading The Curious Incident Of the Dog In the Night Time, by Mark Haddon. It's about a 1 - 2 day read - if you haven't read it, I highly recommend doing so. It's written in the 1st person through the eyes of a autistic teenager. Great read.
Yes, I've read that book also...I think before Doug and Aisha's wedding (I'm way ahead of the times apparently). Now I'm reading "This House Has Fallen: Nigeria in Crisis".
I've been thinking a lot about you during all of these exciting Oilers games. I hope they win, only because you are my brother and I love you (and because I'm Canadian and somewhat hockey-neutral...and because I have a big fat heart).
I will be seeing you very soon! Just around the corner! Oh, just in case you forgot...the wedding is on JULY 7!!! :-) Say hi to the gal for me.
We also enjoyed that book! In fact, we stole our copy from a friend who bought in Ireland where it was apparently on every street corner. We just never gave it back. :)

Yea, it's pretty good. Yesterday I started JPod by Coupland... I'm already half done. I'm not sure if I hate it or love it - I think it hits too close to home, to be honest. While I read it all I can think of is "Holy crap, I'm positive I've had this conversation before!"... it's eery how well he pegs the tech geek crowd.
I also just finished Chomsky's Hegemony or Survival - that's 2.5 books I've read this month, and we're only half way through. I'm on fire!
ha! man, that is one messed up family in that book. I'm really enjoying what Coupland is saying about our society in that book, and where our values lie. It's interesting.
I just love the fact that Ethan's mom is like, a drug dealer, unfaithful wife, and Betty Crocker all rolled into one.
