Rent is an awesome movie. I got to see it this past weekend.
Which reminds me: when is the show you're in going to be? The one about shakespeare that I've never heard of (until now). I'd like to come.
Also, I have a friend who needs some information about App South. She's looking for a new apartment and wants to know all the pros and cons of the place. Is it animal friendly? What's the rent like? Her name's Kat, but seeing in how her lj is "friends only" you could just post your reply here and I could copy and paste it to her's. She's in dire need of a new place. :-/ (If you could help, that'd be awesome)

appsouth is not animal friendly- but it's people friendly. you can't really get cheaper. i live in a place that's 240 each a month for two people. my highest electric was forty-one dollars. there are a couple of wholes in the walls... and i do get to listen to the hardee's drive through every morning... and the tkes every night... and my neighbours do have a graffitti fetish... but honestly, it's paradise compared to flats i've had in the past. they leave you alone, they fix things when they are broken, and they haven't noticed the hole we burned in the carpet by accident last semester. my apartment has a washer/dryer. you get to plug it up to the sink for the added feeling of industry. it's pretty sweet.
if your friend needs a place to live right now, she can move in immediately... happen to have an extra bedroom, fancy that.
