Seung Ri has this habit of telling interviewers embarrassing anecdotes about other Big Bang members. It makes Ji Yong's blood boil, but he can't exactly punch him while they're on air. He's tried punching him after the interviews, but it's not as satisfying - and the harm's already been done, anyway.
So when an idea suddenly occurs to him during a dance lesson, he just can't hold back. "Shaun, can we take a break?"
Two minutes later, they're all sitting down with water bottles and towels, and Ji Yong can barely stifle his evil grin. "Hey, did you hear what happened to Seung Ri in the US?"
Shaun turns to him and blinks curiously. "Nah, what happened?"
Seung Ri freezes with his bottle halfway to his mouth and gives Ji Yong a wide-eyed look.
"Well, he had to change in our van, except he got into the wrong one. So a bunch of strangers walked in on him while he was changing."
Shaun snickers and Seung Ri starts shaking his head frantically behind him.
"And then he said he was glad they weren't black. Because black people would have shot him."
There's a glorious moment of awkward silence during which Seung Ri changes colors and Shaun turns to raise an eyebrow at him. "You said that, huh?"
"I was... Um, I just... Haha, I'm really sorry..."
Seung Ri keeps stammering clumsily in English until even Shaun looks more amused than anything else. Ji Yong sits back, grinning to himself. That felt good.
