Podfic Writing Guide Thingie, Episode One

Jun 08, 2012 21:35

So I've been toying with the idea of writing a k-pop-focused fic writing guide for AGES, and somehow it suddenly took the form of a podcast. It's still very possible I'll do a written guide one day, but for now, here's a pilot episode of sorts. I want to ( Read more... )

You have a really nice voice.

I've listened even thought I'm not really a writer but it was interesting for bystander too.
I love how you're basically moving location in the list of main characters of the story.

First things first: OMG, you're alive :D it's really nice to read from you.

I'm really no writer, so I just listened to it because I'm interested in the progress of writing (...idk if that makes sense) and I think you got the whole location point across really well. It's such a pet peeve of mine when there is no setting explained whatsoever. The Taebin/Se7en fic totally worked as an example. Thank you for taking the time to do this. I'm looking forward to the next one :)
And that podcast totally inspired me to re-read some of your fics. :) Ah, good memories.

and you have such a hot voice, omg

I am occasionally alive, when my fashion school homework isn't eating my entire life away. T_T
I'm working on the next one, though. Glad you liked this one. :D

I've been re-reading old fics too, lately. I need to get back into it... I miss the whole writing community. I guess the podcast is kind of an attempt to get back into it even if I don't have the time and energy to write material I'd be proud to see online.

rofl thanks. <3 I want to teach myself how to "make voices" for different characters when I'm reading fic, but it's not working too well so far.

Your voice is hot. I'm tempted to say I only listened to it for your voice, but your content was actually really good and helpful.
I don't really write anything for the fandom, but i'm sure I'll remember to define location and descriptions when i'm writing creative pieces for school.
Thankyou :)

This was really helpful. I'm definitely guilty of glossing over setting in fiction. Thanks!
