Thanks so much - I'm glad you like it. I really wanted to give Rue a taste of the respect she really deserves. I feel like she's this really influential character that sometimes get's lost in the shipping shuffle sometimes, know what I mean?

I know exactly what you mean.

IMO Rue is the catalyst for the rebellion. Her death has as much significance as Kat's survival in the Hunger games. She's sacrificed in the name of entertainment and for the sake of a evil regime.

It's great that your fanmix pays tribute to her.

This is so sweet and heartbreaking! Perfect for Rue. And weird as it may sound, thank you for making Rue the right ethnicity. Judging by their "dream cast" choices, I've been shocked at how many fans totally missed the very obvious "satiny brown skin." Thank you for paying attention!

I'm glad you like it. I never feel like Rue gets her due from the fandom - I mean, she really was an integral part of putting Katniss on the road to rebellion, just as much as Peeta was, I suppose you could argue.

And I'm glad you like the casting choice. It was really important to me try and find a Rue that matched her description in the book. That being said, it was really hard to find an young actress of color that worked for her - most of the ones I thought of look far to old by this point. But Erica Gluck is such a tiny, little thing that she just fit perfect!
