but does anyone knows what is the least amount that one needs to pay for insurance monthly premiums?

If you're looking at an education abroad, you should be looking for an endowment plan that will give a return of about $150k for 20 years or so.

That willl probably cost about $350/month in premiums.

The industry average minimum is $100 nowadays. If you source around, you might be able to find something that is about $50.

*and on a special note, if this IS for a child's education, please do NOT end up with a whole life policy because the returns aren't half as good.
