Well, 33 hours and 880 miles later, I'm back home. Sorry if I dropped off the radar, I don't remember if I said i was going to the funeral today or not... so yeah, I left work yesterday afternoon, drove back to Tullahoma, went to the funeral this afternoon, and drove home. I got in right at 1:00am, so I'm pretty beat. I would have gone right to ( Read more... )

Glad to know you're safe back home. Yes, we do care - all of us care about your well-being, particularly when you're driving across states. I hope the funeral went as well as could be expected. I also hope you got some rest.
Take care, Rich.
Your cat is tres pretty - I'm glad you have her.

me? sleep? BAH! :P

Thanks chica, I appreciate the thoughts :) I did get (some) sleep last night, but Kiera was adamant that I get up this morning and feed her... it seems I have an ant problem that I have to deal with: Ants keep getting into her Gooshy-food bowl, and I can't figure out how to stop them without going outside and poisioning the whole yard... :-/ Mindy says I should just stop feeding her gooshy food, or save it for special treats. I like spoiling my cat though, so I don't know if that's gonna work out for me... we'll see ;)

Anyway, thanks for thinking about me :)

Gooshy food = the debil.

Just thought you might want to know. And yes, don't you enjoy Two Lumps more now that you have a feline in your life?

Anyway, Mindy's right on the gooshyfood front. It's not all that good for the kitties over long periods of time. Plus, it's ueber expensive.

How's kempo working out for you? I'm really glad you've decided to stick with it. I know I'm a much happier person when I kick things at least twice a week...

As I have said before, I am a *much* better person when I kick things twice a week.

Doe practice?

Is that anything like our san nije chi practice? We have to focus our chi and, without armor, let people whale away on whatever they want to--chest, arms, legs...you're technically not supposed to attack boobies or gonads, but there's always a retard who does...

I'm not sure how to spell it, but it sounds like doe or dough... it's what they call the chest guard. Shane wanteed to do it too... he's on the football team at his high school, he told us that he needed to be able to take a hit ;)

It certianly was a good stress relief, that's for sure...
