As far as nails are concerned, most pet stores worth their salt will carry claw clippers. They are designed to avoid splintering the nails. My parents trim their cats' claws with these and as far as I know the results are satisfactory. Just remember not to trim to far back, i.e. don't trim into the pinkish middle of the claw or you're going to have one pissed-off kitteh!

she is up to date on all of her shots, I'll get you records if you want them. We've been using the advantage drops on the back of her neck and since its the start of a new month (sort of - we do it around the 10th) you should be ready for another dose. you can get them in packs of 4 so, you wont have to run out every month. I'm SOOOO glad you two are getting along so well! you dont know how happy I am that shes got a good kitty-daddy!!! thank you!
