Working through the feelings is very healthy and good for you - even if it CAN be a bitch ;-) I used to dread my anniversary - it didn't help that my accident occurred on a Friday the 13th - there were years I'd stay in and have a pity party. I completely forgot about it the last few years until days later - and only because I looked at a calendar or something and it made me say or think, "Hm. My anniversary just passed" and nothing more. Two things I can assure you of: Your mixed and overwhelming feelings are NORMAL and it really DOES get better over time. I promise. Give me a shout - I'm always happy to help if I am able :-)
