It was a really wonderful Carnival season even though it was so short. The weather held out - it was quite warm, humid and windy, but at least no rain. A fun time was had!

Bouncy it was! This year felt like "real" Carnival - it just seemed more like normal. The crowds were good, the weather nice, and the parades almost all back on schedule.

Gladly! I really had a great time this year - the first I've been to since the storm. It was a lot of fun and really great to see it all again.

St. Louis had to cancel their Fat Tuesday parade because of torrential rains.

Sorry to hear your weather didn't cooperate. We were expected to have rain today, but it held off! We had rain during the week, and several of those parades had to be postponed, but all of the parades ran eventually. Mom and I went to a Lundi Gras party at a friend's house on St. Charles last night - that is the perfect way to see the parades!
