My work life has been crazy busy - the end of a project always is and I’ve just completed one. Or at least this phase of it. So, after three weeks of non-stop work, yes that’s 21 days in a row, I’m finally coming up for air and sleep. And I’m ready to try to catch up on what’s been happening. I love that my travels have all included sampling region-specific alcoholic beverages (Port Wine for Portugal, Riesling and other wines and beers from Bavarian region of Germany, wine sampling in Tuscany and now the Singapore Sling!). And, being from New Orleans makes it seem all the more appropriate.

What an awesome opportunity to teach in Singapore for two years. Had she been there before committing to the two years? The reason I ask is that there is an opportunity to stay in Singapore for one year - but I can't imagine making that drastic of a commitment.
Does your sister have any sight-seeing ideas? Tips besides the peeing?

AkkK, now she'll be locked away forever, like in that Clare Danes movie and I don't think they have the internet in those prisons. Clare didn't. She had like.....a bamboo mat.
