Due to lack of interest, I won't be using LJ or MySpace anymore. I'll check em once a month or so, but I'm over them. You can find me on Facebook or Twitter (both listed as crashsite68). It's been fun, but it's over.
sad, will miss your occasional post... can't quite get into Facebook or Twitter. I'll turn the lights out when I'm the last one to leave LJ. Getting to be a ghost town around here.
Yeah, when I logged on to see what others had posted the day Jackson died and noticed that there was not one single new post in 2-3 days, I knew that was it.
Unlike others, I'm not deleting my journal. I'm just not going to bother posting parties and things like that here. I'll check every once in a while to see if theres anything of interest. but thats about it.
didn't have much to post regarding the current events of Michael Jackson or Farrah Fawcett. If I did, I think people would have been pissed about what I had to say and called me an insensitive ass.
TONS going on in my life, but 90% of it I wouldn't care to write about in LJ and it'd probably get me into trouble with some people (ha!), but I still like looking back on entries and remembering when I bought my house, went to the UK or a special event. Helps me also remember places in cities I've visited that I may forget.
Are you a flickr user at all? I know it's more for photos, but I've been using it a bit and I'm looking to use it more as a photo journal in the future. http://www.flickr.com/photos/djsaint/
also thanks for the invite, I have pre-exisitng plans for the 4th. Will have to hang out at some point this summer.
I'm a picasa user. I like that I can edit and post my pix all with one program. Picasa also offers a nice slideshow feature for guests to view your albums full screen. Been adding pix for years and not even using half the space they give you. Just posted vacation pix on there. (link on facebook)
I've looked at a ton of myspace profiles and it looks mind-numbingly stupid. I just can't into the idea of the wall. Visually, it looks like the place all the color blind losers who used to have geocities.com pages went after it became irrelevant. And the automatic music playing is just bullshit. If I want audio, I'll already have it going.
I did see a facebook page the other day and it looked tolerable. Might be worth setting up.
