Hello, and thank you to everyone who wished me good luck! Right now, I'm in the Chinatown Branch of the LA Public Library, happily updating my journal after having the best chimichanga of my life on the oldest street in LA

Hmm, they have openings for 1900 mechanics. Tempting, but I don't know if I want to migrate all the way out there. Don't know if I even want ANY aviation-related career anymore. But I guess I can think it over for the future
Found out they use the 1900C model. I thought the fuselage looked awfully "short". Still, interesting group of aircraft in their fleet.
So far, I like the company. We walked through the hangars at BUR,and it was very clean. They do all their maintenance in-house, and each base has it's own MX operation. I don't know how much the techs work on different kinds of A/C- didn't talk to any. They primarily operate Chieftans, Beech 99s and 1900s, Fairchild Metroliners, and Lear 35s. I know there's a couple Chieftans based in Texas, and the Missoula base in Montana has some 99s. Portland has a mix of Chiefs and 99s, and Seattle has more turboprop than recip. Burbank... hell, I don't want to live down there, either. Oh, SLC has turboprops and Chiefs, too. Ummmm... there's a base in Phoenix, and they've started ops out in Ohio, too. And there's a base at San Juan, PR, but no one in their right mind would want to go live and work down there. If you remain interested, once I've gotten on the line I can see about walking your resume in...
