Had a great time visiting with Sheepdog & Co. tonight. They fed me some great pasta and garlic bread, and then we played video games- Eve of Destruction was delightfully challenging and fun

Yeah, I do hope to avoid living in an apartment again for the same kind of reason you describe above. In fact, I hope to live far enough away from my neighbors that we'd each have to make efforts to notice the other is there no matter what we do.

On the job thing: I know how long it took and how difficult it was for you to get your current position, so I imagine a little caution is certainly warranted-- wouldn't want to move and then have the job disappear from under you. :( (And yes-- with a career like being a pilot, there's no excuse for not enjoying it, or being pleasant to the people you have to work with!)

I've got distant family (removed 2nd cousins and what have you) in Battleground-- it's a pleasantly rural place, and I think you'd do well there, if the commute doesn't kill you, eh!
