I came across this story and thought it was too good to not pass around.  People like this deserve recognition- not only for the good they do, but to help give everyone the confidence to try and help when it's needed.

That's pretty moving, actually.

Oh, geez. What an awful place to live.

Sure, he saves about 3 a year... but about one a week goes there and commits suicide. So for everyone one he manages to talk down, he has to watch ten fling themselves over the edge.
