Bam! Right in the childhood. Simba is such a dick in this version. He just had to take it too far.

Rowan Atkinson's original spiel was well-written, and delivered im-peck-ably.

This just leaves me feeling ill. It turns Simba from a headstrong, overconfident cub, to being downright malicious.

Yup, cut scenes should be cut.
I'll never get why some people love "extras".
A film is a beautiful, finished, artistically complete object!

Or at least, ya know, have it in a cut section of the DVD under "extra scenes" or something.

I'm not sure if your's is the same as mine, but it has the original version as well. You have to hunt for it though - access to it is tucked away in the languages menu.
