having fun isn't always just a party

the discussion elysha and i had ranged from the fact that instead of the government being a democracy, more communist rights are held in the hands of the politicians that serve our country. Some might think that our heads are full of anti-everything bull, but those that think this can...if they choose. Elysha was taken to the deans office for not ( Read more... )

What the fuck?! It says in the Teacher's Book of Law that teachers are not allowed to persuade or require students to stand for or recite the pledge of allegiance. If they try to RPC her or punish her for refusing to stand, that is against the law.

Did she disrespect the teacher in any way?

The phrase 'under god' was added to the pledge in the 1950's (or somewhere around then) to seperate the U.S. from the atheist communist countries of the time. It wasn't in the original pledge of allegiance.

I also think it's bullshit that some jobs and colleges hire people based on their race. Some of them have a certain number of minorities that thay have to hire or admit. They do it so that they can have 'equality' or a diverse mix of races. IT'S FUCKING BULLSHIT! If you think about it, they are basically saying saying that if they didn't give minorities special privilages, then they couldn't get to the same place as white people. They are still stuck in the ignorant idea that white people are superior.

exactly...all she did was sit and try to explain her points. Sadly, a lot of the people populating our country today ARE still in the "white power" complex, even if it's not out in the open or subtle.

^^^^ fucking exactly.
its really hard when i try to get my point across, when no one understands what im talking about.
And whats even more stuipd is that they have made us recite the pledge sense what kindergarden?, and i know that not even half the people even know what it means, nor stands for.
They just say it because they've been told its the right thing to do.
And if its such a free country why must they fuss over things like this, when its just OUR beliefs, and opinions.
are we forcing it on anyone? No.. Are we saying its right or wrong? No.
But remember we only bitch and moan just because its teen angst. ;)

that's bull shit!!! they can't send her to the office for that. it's her damn choice. i'm an athiest and the "one nation under God" part just isn't right to me so i don't stand. that's wrong of them.

as for the anarchy thing.. eeh.. what you're talking about is "black anarchy" which is the bull-shit chaos. but "golden anarchy" is peace. it represents what America POSES itself to be: "a free country". the basis of gold anarchy requires people to be good hearted. but some people are deeply evil so thats where things go to bull shit. DAMN. politics opens my mouth haha
