Shuttle Endeavor is on track for an early-morning launch tomorrow. STS-130 will carry up the cupola, a big 7-windowed viewing room that will be a workstation for operating the station's robot arm and also a lot of fun for the crew to gaze out of when exercising or off duty ( Read more... )

It's the time of year when gardeners peruse seed catalogs and start making plans for spring. Accordingly, I looked up Oregon seed companies, figured I'd put them here so I can find them easily.

The best I can say about 2009 is that some things may not yet have come fully to fruition. Whether they are festering and going to burst in a miasma of corruption or are wrapped in a cocoon until they metamorphose into something good remains to be seen.
