I've thought about this before and it's totally true! Little kids add the "ee" sound to EVERYTHING!

An insect is a "buggy." Their wound is an "owee."

There's puppy, kitty, mommy, daddy, cubby, pee-pee, doody, wee-wee. The "ee" sound is just cute by default.

PS: I like the name "homicidey." That's what I'm gonna call it from now on.
