I got a B in Spanish!!!!!!!! Wohoooo!

Life has gone pretty well lately. I went camping this weekend, got to stand in front of a campfire the whole time, and cook good food for awesome people. Not much has gone on lately; Spanish is getting kind of tough; suddenly, I have to remember all of the verbs that I learned so I can turn them into past tense. Poop.

Nothing has gone on. Really.

I'm supposed to go to the Joynt tonight. That should be fun.

My cats are still alive. Nothing happened to them; I just thought I'd let you know.

Wow. I'm bored. 

Goonie finally popped at 10:35am this morning. The kid was 8lbs, 14 oz. I think his name is Orion, but I'll have to double check on that. Everybody seems to be doing well.

Not much else is going on, except trying to avoid the second round of monsoon season.

I still read everybody's journal, even if I don't post myself. :)

Just hangin' out with the Goonie.....I guess she's having small contractions, but nothing to the point where she has to go to the hospital yet.

Yesterday I got an invitation to go to Drew's wedding on August 14th. I'm still trying to decide if I want to go. Is there anyone else going?

I asked for clarification about what Aaron meant by me being stupid, and it turned out that somehow I had missed the fact that he was referencing my cooking skills. He wasn't being mean; I truly lack basic skills to make food. I can boil water, though, and I like to think I can be trained.

Actually, not too much. I had WWXI last weekend (that medieval reenactment group thing) which was a blast. Aaron went along; people loved the food he made.

Spanish is going well. I feel like I'm grasping what's going on fairly well.

I applied for the Technical College. I'd be going in January. The welding classes are all filled up, and so I picked up Geographic Information Systems; translation- I'd be doing GPS like what Sabrina is doing. The GIS course is two years, and I don't think I would finish that before I switched to welding. Mostly it's just a place holder to get my ( Read more... )

It seems to be a lull time in my world, just before all sorts of activities commence.
